Haifa
The largest City in northern Israel, Haifa is mostly a seaport city built by the Biritsh in the 1930’s for transfering petrol from Kirkuk to Oil Tankers on the Mediterranean.
Haifa’s most famous tourist attraction is the Bahaian Terraced Gardens above the German Colony. It has also the site of Stella Maris , Cave of Elijah and the Hecht Museum, A National Martime Museum, a Science Museum (“Madatech”), and the “Technion” Institute of Technology.
